Better-Looking Skin with No Additives

PRP contains a high amount of nutrients, vitamins, and growth factors, and therefore has the ability to revitalize and “wake up” the skin by kick-starting brand-new cell renewal. Growth factors — when used in combination with microneedling, microdermabrasion, injections, or laser therapy — can heal and repair damaged skin, as well as achieve new firmness and elasticity.

Benefits of PRP Skin Rejuvenation

What can PRP do for the skin?

  • Stimulate natural collagen and elastin production
  • Increases blood flow to injured tissues to repair damage
  • Firms and tightens the skin
  • Minimizes enlarged pores
  • Reduces wrinkles, fine lines, and nasolabial folds
  • Improves dull skin tone and uneven texture
  • Improves dark circles and hollow areas under the eyes
  • Reduces the appearance of a loose, sagging jawline

Is PRP Skin Rejuvenation Safe?

PRP skin rejuvenation is very safe as long as you choose to work with a licensed, experienced medical professional who has excellent feedback from their patients. PRP therapy is known for having a very low risk of side effects because it comes from your own body.

Preparing for Your PRP Treatment

  • 1 week before treatment: Do not have any other facial treatments done.
  • 3-4 days before treatment: Stop taking any anti-inflammatory medications.
  • 1-2 weeks before treatment: Stop taking blood-thinners of any kind, as well as any systematic steroids.
  • If you have active acne, a skin infection, or any type of wound in the treatment area, postpone your appointment.
  • Eat a healthy meal and stay hydrated right before your appointment.

PRP Treatment Details: What to Expect

On the day of your PRP skin rejuvenation appointment, we will cleanse and prepare your skin. Depending on how you will be receiving your dose of PRP and your specific comfort level, you may also be given a topical anesthetic. About 1-2 ounces of blood will be drawn from your arm. Once collected, it will be put into a device to separate the red blood cells from the platelet-rich plasma. Once the plasma has been separated out and purified, it will be put into a syringe so that it can be administered to your face. You may have your PRP administered with simple injections, or in combination with another procedure such as laser therapy or microneedling.

  • When PRP is used in combination with microneedling, it is either dripped directly onto the skin or rubbed in by hand as the microneedling device creates tiny holes in the dermis, allowing the PRP to reach deeply into the pores.
  • When PRP is used in combination with microdermabrasion, it is added in small increments to the skin as the microdermabrasion device passes over the treatment zone.
  • When PRP is used in combination with laser therapy, the PRP mixture will be applied by hand directly into the skin after the laser has done its work.
  • When PRP is administered with injections, it is simply injected into different areas of the face from a syringe.
