The Laser Genesis and excel V system can treat over 20 different skin conditions. Laser Genesis uses a heat-based YAG laser to kick-start collagen production, resulting in a more resilient, healthy, radiant-looking skin tone and texture, while excel V targets abnormal blood vessels in the skin.

How the Treatment Works

With excel V, pulses of light energy are emitted to cause the blood within the vein to coagulate, which eventually causes the vein to disappear. Your body will then absorb it. With Laser Genesis, micro-pulses reach deeply into the skin’s surface to trigger collagen and close up dilated capillaries.

What Are Treatments Like?

Laser Genesis and excel v treatments take 15-30 minutes to complete, and are typically performed without the use of anesthetic because they are so tolerable. Sapphire Cooling is used to provide even further comfort during treatment.

Before the laser begins, your skin will be cleansed and we will give you eye shields to protect your eyes from the laser flashes. The laser will then pass over your skin, targeting the problem areas.

For patients using the excel V laser, 1-4 treatments are typical; for those using Laser Genesis, 4-6 treatments are typical. However, the number of treatments will depend on your specific condition. Your results will look better and better after each session.

After treatment, you will be able to resume your regular activities. Please note that some patients experience some facial swelling, redness, and/or bruising at the treatment site for up to four days.
